Root City is a funky blues band based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The band combines the well crafted music of Alex Rossi(Guitar-Vocals) with jumping high energy Funk and R&B covers. Other band member include: Heatbox (Beatboxing-Vocals), Cory Blanchard (Keys-Vocals), Patrick Nelson (Drums-Vocals), Chris Larson (Bass-Vocals) and Max Felsheim (Saxophone - Vocals). The group performs regularly at Gluek's on Wednesdays in downtown Minneapolis, and weekly at venues all over the Twin Cities area.

You treat yourself to a night out midweek at Gluek's. Root City starts out with Jamie Lidell and Raphael Saadiq and doesn't stop playing good music until you leave. You then want to go every Wednesday but you can't. :-)
