Because my styles are so varied, I've been compared to many artists as diverse as Jimmy Buffett, James Taylor, Rick Springfield, Hank Williams Sr., Eagles, Paul McCartney, Marty Robbins, Toby Keith, Frankie Valli, Beach Boys, Jackson Browne and Vince Gill. I have been singing and playing some sort of instrument since I was four. In second grade I played the male lead in Hansel and Gretel. Harmonica and violin were my early instruments, followed by guitar, bass, keyboards and drums. I sang in school and church choirs and later in rock bands from junior high school into college where my main instrument was bass guitar. I have played up and down the West Coast and Mid Atlantic states.
My compositions have received airplay on numerous radio stations, both broadcast and internet. Some of my work has been used in TV shows as theme songs.
My music covers the following styles: Rock, Country, Jazz, Reggae, Polka and "Other." :)
I now reside in Clearwater, FL with my beautiful wife and two cats. I operate Dockendorf Audio Recorders and am presently working on the release of my first solo CD. Watch this space or my blog for updates.
