The Shadow Grounds is an new experimental noise project formed by David Kyle of (Secret Codes, Y La Bamba, Treasures, David Kyle and the Invisibles)
In this project David creates delicate textures using a mixture of exotic acoustic instruments. All the recordings are site specific and recorded live. The upcoming album Possible Futures of the Past, which will be released on Gypsypop Records, was recorded live in an old abandoned masonic temple. David hopes to keep a tradition of recording in old abandoned buildings, subway stations, and underneath bowling alleys in order to enhance the mood and experience of each piece.
