"A tense blast of guitar-driven energy from Australia, The Shiny Brights are flying full speed down the hedonistic road of rock'n'roll. With urgent riffs a plenty, they're fresh and raw and full of a lot of bottled-up energy that clearly needs to be released"
We've had the great pleasure of sharing the stage in 2008 with such amazing acts as The Wombats (UK), Apollo Heights (US), The Answering Machine (UK), The Vines, The Living End, The Grates, You Am I, Children Collide, Young & Restless, Yves Klein Blue, Wolf & Cub, The Silents, The John Steel Singers, Hungry Kids Of Hungary as well as enjoying slots on the CMJ Music Marathon (USA), The Great Escape (UK), Big Day Out, WAMI Festival, Fuse Festival, Southbound Festival, Parklife and Adelaide International Guitar Festival.
In September 2008 we released our debut EP 'Let's Not And Say We Did' which is now available via itunes. The real EP can also be purchased at a gig near you, and due to its shiny, silver-foiled cover can be used for an array of intriguing activities such as distracting Qantas planes.
We have also just released the new single from our second EP 'Too Many Chiefs', which is due in October 2009. You can download the new track 'Man In The Manic' for free - just follow the links in the blog. ENJOY!
