From the time the first rhymes flowed at the park jams of New York's South Bronx, rap's most important emcees have been of the African-American persuasion. Yes, there've been a few notable exceptions: in the mid-'80s the Beastie Boys rowdily bridged rap's racial divide to great commercial $ucce$$. Over a dozen years later, Marshall "Eminem" Mathers secured his spot amongst hip-hop's pantheon of rhyme titans, dressing in drag and exorcising personal demons along the way. And thanks to these pale trailblazers today there are more vanilla-hued rap contenders, and pretenders, than ever before. But who, pray tell, will be hip-hop's next great white hope?

It's Official... ego trip's Miss Rap Supreme to debut on Vh1 in April!
For months you've been hearing the gossips, but now we're giving you the real... and the white rappers who hated us before are really gonna hate us now...
Brace yourselves and repeat after us... There will be no Season 2 of ego trip's The (White) Rapper Show. Sorry, Charlie. (DEMAND TO THE NETWORK THAT THE SERIES BE RELEASED ON DVD!) But the good news, rap fans/couch potatoes is that the estrogen-soaked Miss Rap Supreme is on the way this Spring, and it ain't pretty... in fact, it's sick!
Yeah, the Internet has already blown it up, but we're here to give you the direct inflowmation... ego trip's Miss Rap Supreme is the incredible follow-up to The (White) Rapper Show and features some of the illest up-and-coming female MCs of all creeds and colors competing for a hunnid grand. Overseeing the madness at The Fembassy (the equivalent to WRS's Tha White House) is none other than returning host MC Serch and his new co-hostess-with-the-mostess Yo-Yo. Don't try and play her out!
The series has already filmed (sorry femcees who missed out) and we're currently in post (as they say in the bizness). Yes, there will be guest stars. Yes, there will be drama. Yes, there will be sexy time. Yes, there will be critics who hate before even seeing the show. Yes, there will be countless TV junkies fienin' for the next MRS hit each week. Yes, there will be controversy.
But wait, there's more good newz. Vh1 is excited about Miss Rap Supreme and will air the series right after Flavor of Love 3. In TV Land, that's like having your first single feature Lil' Wayne with production by Kanye West!
In the coming months, you will undoubtedly hear all kinds of smack said about MRS. All we ask is that you watch every episode and decide for yourself what you think.

Well was looking forward to a White Rapper Show Season 2 but that Miss Rap Supreme sounds like it should be pretty tight.I'm glad to see Search will be back and will be nice to see Yo Yo Fa Sho... Will be looking for that April 7th. Till then... Lyrical.
